What changed

RoDTEP, which remits duties and taxes on exported products at notified rates, now runs to 31 December 2026 under DGFT Notification 41/2026-27. Notification 74/2025-26 had kept rates and caps unchanged for 1 April to 30 September 2026.

Who it affects

Exporters of goods from India, including component and vehicle makers.

What to do

Keep claims current, and do not assume continuation beyond 31 December 2026 in export pricing. Exporters importing capital goods can also look at EPCG, which allows zero-duty imports against an export obligation of six times the duties within six years.
